Happy Birthday to Me!!

For my birthday I got a very cute puppy named Zoe!!! Isn't she adorable???

The kids think she is really fun too. Michelle doesn't quite get why she doesn't sit when she tells her but she thinks she is great. Charlie is more of a distant "puppy" lover. Max's vote however is not yet determined. She keeps following him around and sometimes thinks his tail is a great chew toy.

Edaville Railroad

We have had quite the week this week with the Zooquarium and then Edaville today. It is a bit hard to get pictures of moving children in a crowded area but we tried. Edaville was so great today!!! We were a bit worried as Michelle can be afraid of a lot of things and although she was not a huge fan of the merry-go-round she went on it. She ended up loving the train rides, big and small, and especially enjoyed the Barney show. She was dancing in the aisle as you can see. Charlie loved it to. He sat in the stroller during the Barney show and clapped his little hands nonstop. It was so great to see both of them having such a great time.

Dancing and clapping to Barney.

Standard photo ops with Grace.

Do you hear it? It's Thomas!!!

A bunch of nothing

It seems as though we have been super busy lately although I am not exactly sure what that has been. A glance through the camera doesn't reveal too much either but here a few pictures that I thought were worth sharing.

Although everyone was still under the weather we made our scheduled trip to Wellfleet specifically the Beachcomber. We didn't make it long but now I can finally say we have been.

Although I didn't have my camera with me we recently attended a craft day in Cotuit center. It was fun for the kids, until that clown popped a balloon and freaked Michelle out. We did purchase books from the library book sale and Michelle has been reading them since, she has even deciding reading to her brother is fun.

We can't forget a quick post about 4th of July. We had a fun day starting with breakfast at WYLC, a parade and then a cookout at Mimi and Grampys. Charlie was a walking fool and had a great time with his cousins.

I have no particular reason for posting this picture except for

1) I don't think Mike will ever let me put the pink shirt on Charlie again
and
2) Who knows how much longer they'll love hugging each other without pain in their faces, lol

Boating 101

One of the favorite activities of summer for my neices and nephews has always been helping Grampa drive his boat. Charlie is no different, except that he wanted Grampa's hat too!!

Doesn't he look huge???

Lucas?

Who remembers the movie Lucas? If you do, you'll appreciate the photo of Charlie. It makes me giggle every time I see it as I think he looks just like him.

As for the photos of Michelle, she thought she would shave like her daddy the other day. As you question where her adult supervision was I was trying to repair the shade Charlie had just ripped down not two inches from her. I think she was more afraid of me yelling at her to stop than the cut itself. It was bleeding a good bit and in order to get her to keep the bandaid on I had to put several on her.

PS: I think all the photos of Charlie for the next year of his life will include a hat in his hands. He is addicted to them!!!

It's official....summer is here

We have kicked off the summer with our first visit to WLYC. The club doesn't officially open until this weekend but it was nice to have some quiet time, well as quiet as it can be with a 1 and 2 year old on the beach. I forgot my camera but did use my phone for some photos.
