The La-La marathon continues

Tuesday at snack time.....

Wednesday breakfast.....

It is now Thursday morning and she is wearing the costume again!! It desperately needs to go into the wash so that must be completed during naptime today. Wish me luck with that.

And of course who can leave out Charlie. This toy car was brought up in this weeks toy rotation and he won't stop "driving" around the house. The other night he wanted to be sure to wear his safety helmet.

La-La and Dipsy

We went to a halloween party today which was good because Michelle has been wearing her costume for 24 hours now. The kids were a hit in their teletubby costumes of course. We even got to see Ms. Mary and Ms. Cheri from the F.U.N. program. We spent the beginning of the party playing in the area they had set up and making a mess on the floor, oops.

We then proceeded outside to take part in the treat hunt. Unfortunately Charlie thought the gravestones (old swimming boards which I found ingenius) were his own stage to jump on.

We then found Moezy and Grace and took a quick picture. Charlie did not want to sit with the girls though, he needed his space I suppose, :-).

We even went on a hay ride which struck me funny as last weekend we had the opportunity to go on hay ride pulled by a tractor think I forgot to upload those pictures, yet we went on the one pulled by the Barnstable DPW F250 today, ha ha.

The Pumpkin Shirt

Charlie is obsessed with his pumpkins as I have already established. I took out his jack-o-latern shirt, actually Michelle's from last year, and he was so excited as I thought he would be. Unfortunately I did not take into consideration that Michelle would want one too. After a major meltdown I remembered I had her pumpkin dress from last year, although it is slightly short it serves its purpose and everyone is happy again in this house.

Keep those apples coming

Mike thought I was crazy getting a huge bag of apples but the kids just love them. These pictures are not very cute or attractive but can you believe how light Charlie's hair looks?????

He obviously is still enjoying his apples and saying "cheeeeeeeese".

The kids had a great stay with Nani and Grampa while Mike and I went away but I can not get those pictures to post, :-(.I'll let you know there was lots of playing with cousins and Charlie and Max felt right at home going into the snack drawer!! Thanks Nani and Grampa!!

Apple picking is so much fun.....

Michelle has been reading a book about apple picking for a year now and we finally went today with her cousins. She has been so excited but got a bit distracted by the dog bouncy house next to the parking lot when we first arrived. We managed to convince her to go into the orchards but with every apple she put in the bag she would say "now we can go jump." Crazy kid doesn't miss a beat. Charlie flipped for an apple the moment he saw them. He continued to eat apples throughout the orchard sampling some from every tree it seemed.

Michelle finally got to go in the jumpy house.

We then proceeded to the play ground where the kids had a blast playing with all of their cousins, who are all SO great with them I must add.

I think the funniest part of this portion of the day was Stephen luring Charlie out of the fort with a donut, tears are coming to my eyes thinking about it. Look closely at Charlie's cheeks in the second photo his mouth is stuffed yet he wants more, that's my Charlie.

We then proceeded to the pumpkin patch where Charlie did not disappoint. I had been looking forward to this part the most as he simply loves pumpkins, as you can see.

Michelle enjoyed walking through the patch with Allison and Lindsay.

We finished the day at the farm with a ride around the pumpkin patch. Michelle got halfway around when she started giggling so I hear. This is great as I fully expected to see Mike walking back from the far end of the patch having had to abandon the ride.

A successful day!!
