I have no particular reason for posting this picture except for

1) I don't think Mike will ever let me put the pink shirt on Charlie again
and
2) Who knows how much longer they'll love hugging each other without pain in their faces, lol

Boating 101

One of the favorite activities of summer for my neices and nephews has always been helping Grampa drive his boat. Charlie is no different, except that he wanted Grampa's hat too!!

Doesn't he look huge???

Lucas?

Who remembers the movie Lucas? If you do, you'll appreciate the photo of Charlie. It makes me giggle every time I see it as I think he looks just like him.

As for the photos of Michelle, she thought she would shave like her daddy the other day. As you question where her adult supervision was I was trying to repair the shade Charlie had just ripped down not two inches from her. I think she was more afraid of me yelling at her to stop than the cut itself. It was bleeding a good bit and in order to get her to keep the bandaid on I had to put several on her.

PS: I think all the photos of Charlie for the next year of his life will include a hat in his hands. He is addicted to them!!!

It's official....summer is here

We have kicked off the summer with our first visit to WLYC. The club doesn't officially open until this weekend but it was nice to have some quiet time, well as quiet as it can be with a 1 and 2 year old on the beach. I forgot my camera but did use my phone for some photos.

Baking Cookies

Michelle and I decided to make some cookies today. She had a great time, but I'm most concerned about the mischievous grin she has on her face.....

June 2, 2008

Seriously couldn't you eat them up? Well, on some days anyway. Charlie was in a rare great mood today and truly enjoyed his ride on his mommy's back as we walked the canal. Not a peep out of him which as those who are around him a lot realize is a GREAT feat!! Obviously with him on my back I couldn't take his picture so I took a quick one when we returned.
