What was to be the first day of school....

I find myself exhausted this evening on what was to be the first day of school (thanks Irene!), looking at the photos of the day I now know why I am so tired.

First we made some cookies...

We made a sauce with the tomatoes and peppers from our garden, it was a family affair but was way to messy to photograph!

Then we road bikes...

We finished the day in the sprinkler,

and with some relaxing!

We had a great day but perhaps my favorite part was Michelle letting Max and Zoe out when the FedEx man arrived prompting him to almost have a heart attack because he saw the cruiser in the driveway and thought it was Kosmo, LOL!!!

Kramer Cousins

We did get to visit with Tori, Lindsay and Allison although I didn't get pictures of the kids with them :-(.

We tried the beach but we were being pummeled by sand. We weren't sure how the kids would react to leaving after 30 minutes but they were completely fine.

Ahh Mom it is a little sunny here...

When did Charlie take to posing like this?

Dancing on the rocks!

And we have been doing endless painting since Mimi got Michelle a paint set!

We were invited to the Red Sox game last night by the Lennons. The Sox lost but what a great night. Thanks Sondra and Kevin!

WLYC Dance 2012

Staying up late is great fun for any 4 and 5 year old but when it is at WLYC it is VERY exciting, especially when it is with all the older kids of the club. I don't know what they found the most fun, getting their own fruit punch from the dispenser or dancing! It didn't take long for the kids to get fruit punch mustaches and it all over themselves.

Charlie and his Nicky-Nick.

These pictures make me laugh because Charlie and "baby" Emma were running around together for a good portion of the night, yet here it looks like all she wants to do is get away from him, :-)

Hula Hoop Time! Katie rocked it,

Michelle tried and did pretty well,

.....maybe next year Charlie, :-)

Charlie requested and then concentrated very hard on the "Cha Cha". What a great night!
