We have been really busy lately out and about fitting as much as possible into our days.

The other day we went to the Marshfield Fair. Michelle practiced her smiling next to one of the jumbo pumpkins.

Charlie loved the cows until they made noise:

Michelle and Mike then took a ride down the Super Slide. Michelle didn't like it as much as we thought she would.

"Martha's House"

Yesterday we had a great day with Mimi, Auntie Ann, Tori, Lindsay and Allison. Michelle thought we were taking the boat to "Martha's House". She started out with tons of energy on the boat but after some shopping and lunch she ran out. Poor kid, not only did her hair lose all control and become a mop but her neck must not have felt good either.

Charlie lasted the entire trip but did quickly fall asleep when we got into the car. He had fun though.

Zoe would like to thank Nani for my lounge chair, we both love it!!

Charlie tried to go for a nice quiet Zebra ride yesterday but Michelle couldn't hold in her hugs and kisses for him. She then had to take a ride on the Zebra herself and Charlie thought it was only right to be right there with her.

Dog Days of Summer

We have some new favorite activities around our household. If I forget to lock Zoe's kennel it quickly because a play room....

I also hit a great yard sale and got some sneakers for the kids. Now the sneakers won't fit Charlie for a year if not more but for the price we couldn't turn them down. Unfortunately, he has decided he wants to wear them now.

Max's vote is in....

Zoe is going to stay!! Max is a new dog with Zoe around. We know lots of you thought we were insane for getting a puppy, and we were in some regards, but Zoe is so awesome. Max needs to play ALOT and Zoe fullfills that need for him. He no longer stands around barking at me to play and if anything he tries to sneak away from the pounching puppy coming at him from all directions quite frequently. Mike taught Zoe to sit in literally 2 minutes. She is certainly motivated by food, maybe that is why Charlie likes her so much??? The kids simply adore her. Charlie still prefers to call her "puppy" rather than Zoe but that is fine. Michelle gets a kick out of putting her in her cabinet (AKA crate) and actually does it rather easily. I have coerce Zoe in but not Michelle, I'll often come around the corner to Michelle giving Zoe treats through the closed crate. I should learn from her I suppose.

We have also started potty training Michelle. Once again, I'm not sure what motivated me to start but I think it was that she was telling Zoe not to go on the floor so I thought this would be a good training opportunity. She woke up from her nap today dry and went on the potty. She was so proud of herself!! I'm not sure if this was progress or a one time thing only time will tell.

Here are some new photos for kicks:
