Trying to get the kids to sit and smile at the same time is apparently still very difficult.
And if a plane goes overhead, forget it. (For some reason I love this picture though.)
Now if I want a silly face, the kids are all over that!!!

I keep thinking I'll have time to finish this post but since it is almost the weekend again and we have lots more fun plans I figure I might as well post as is, :-)
Friday night we attended a great halloween party. Mike and the kids dressed as the Teletubbies again.
We took our eyes off Charlie for a moment and found him saddled up to the cupcake table, LOL.
The kids experienced their first party games and while Michelle was skeptical at first, Charlie jumped right in. Are we suprised?
This is so silly...
Ahhh, I'll just use my hands...
Time to find the chocolate in the whipcream!

Temper Tantrums and Front Yard Fun
We went outside yesterday afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather. Michelle threw a tantrum resulting in my taking a book out of her bed, the worst thing a Mommy can do around here. She wound up like this in her bed. I almost felt bad as she fell asleep like this and was still sniffling about the book I took away.
Charlie had fun following Mike all over the yard as he mowed. He had to give it a shot himself.
I then convinced him to do like Grampa and Uncle Jim do....LOL

Seaside Fireworks
I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the fireworks last night. Unfortunately the highlight was the glow sticks I had bought at the $$ store for the occasion, :-) Charlie lasted about 30 seconds once the fireworks went off but I was so proud of Michelle who worked through her fear and watched the entire show with me. She even just told Mike she wanted to go to the fireworks next Sunday, LOL.
Silly me thought I might get to play with my camera to get some shots of the actualy fireworks, maybe in the years to come!

Bourne Farm
Although our pumpkin picking outing yielded no pumpkins we had a fun morning with Mimi and Grampy on their last day in Massachusetts until December.
As soon as we pulled in and saw the jump house and slide Michelle was very excited. She ran up to the top of the slide and then froze, lol. Her first ride down was with the girl stationed at the top and all photo opportunities of me going down with the kids were lost as Mike was chatting with an old friend, :-)
We then ran (literally) to the bounce house:
Then it was time for pony rides, boy was I jealous!!!!! Not such great form but we'll work on them. As you can see, Michelle loved it while Charlie was not so sure....
Onto the hayride, the kids decied to ride the tractor pulled one rather than horse pulled one. Again, Michelle was pretty excited.
Time for face painting. Charlie sat so still as he was being painted.
I'm exhausted just posting this but then we went to lunch and back to Mimi and Grampy's for some flowers and tree climbing. Michelle lost a bit of her paint during lunch.
Daddy decided to climb in the trees as well which the kids thought was really funny.
