Even the best laid plans.....
Last Wednesday we had an appointment for Charlie and Michelle to get their picture taken at Sears. The appointment was made so both Mike and I could go. We arrived early to prepare Charlie for his first photo session with a bottle. It was chaotic but we were just about to walk back for our pictures when Mike recieved a call out, this is my life. The following photos are what we wound up with when we returned after bringing him to the station......

Here Here to the Pack n Play Gods
Sometimes one must sacrifice to achieve their goals, :-). Yesterday afternoon I decided my daily shower was not as crucial as some sleep and opted to put the bassinet portion on the Pack n Play thus eliminating Michelle's upstairs play area. Well, the results were a dream, literally, I finally had a dream after 7 weeks. Charlie slept in 2 hour increments all night long!!! Now of course this could just be a trick, but he is up there right now sleeping again. I might actually get some housework done, nah, who am I kidding, I used the time yesterday to play with Michelle because her Dad has been getting to do all the fun stuff with her lately and I felt as though I was neglecting her.

15 Months
We can't believe Michelle is now 15 months (and that we forgot to post on the 3rd). As one can imagine, life is crazy here right now. Michelle is doing great. She makes us laugh every day with one of her antics. Her facial expressions are priceless. We took her to see the Easter Bunny at the mall and she just loved him/her. Lately favorite daily activities are to turn on the swing, music and motion, and to touch the cable box saying "no, no." She also particularly likes to play "boo" with her Dad on the floor.

A little bit of sleep goes a long way!
Charlie is slowly becoming an independent sleeping man. We have put him in his bassinet for the past two nights and although Saturday night he didn't last very long, last night he slept for 2 hours in it. Additionally he is overall sleeping better by himself, that is to say I'm not in the recliner with him all night long. I've got to admit it makes me sad in a way. Yes, I know I'm insane but it just makes me realize how quickly he is going to grow up. I'll be grateful for some sleep but it is sad too.
