Kick of to Charlie's 3rd Birthday

It does not seem possible that three years have gone by since Charlie entered our life. Although he has many "moments" that only Charlie can have, he cracks us up on a daily basis. Like asking Mike the other day if we could "please have a baby" and when Mike said no he replied, "but I said please." LOL. Then there was the woman at the hockey rink the other day who came out of her office and started asking him about the Thomas trains he was playing with, he told her to "go back into your room." Ha ha. He really is sooooo funny. I am going to miss him so much when he starts school in the fall, :-( makes me cry thinking about it.

Since we are headed skiing tomorrow we had Nani and Grampa over for dinner tonight. I tested out his Lightening McQueen cake and although I made quite a few mistakes, (like breaking it this morning prompting Charlie to run away from me saying "Mommy broke my cake, I'm so sad. I'm going to my room" ) I'm pretty happy with my attempt.

Happy Birthday my precious boy, "you are the best son ever"!!!

Exploring outside

I simply love watching the kids play outside. Today we colored the snow blue and then took a look with a magnifying glass (and sticks Zoe would bring to us). Fun stuff!!

Bonkers

Yesterday we had a fun morning with Nick and Katie!

Fun things in the Dollar Tree, ha ha.



Bonkers finally opened and the kids had so much fun.

Playdate in Maine

We had a great visit with some of my college friends in Maine today. The kids did amazing on the ride both ways, no meltdowns or drama, phew. I hope it goes as smoothly next week when we head to NH.

Newborn Kaiden was a huge hit with the kids and myself, :-). Isn't he adorable!??!?!?

Charlie enjoyed singing to baby Kaiden while Michelle did some coloring.


Then Michelle's "boyfriend" arrived and they had fun being super silly!

Charlie's first trip to the Dentist!!!

Today is a busy day, dentist this morning, doctor for followup flu shots this afternoon.

Charlie did great at the dentist today! He was slightly apprehensive at first getting into the chair but he sat in the "small" chair first and then slowly moved to the "big" chair.



Michelle even got to be a helper before it was her turn to get in the chair.

Boston Children's Museum

This morning the kids woke up for a mystery ride. Although Charlie has a sudden adversion to the camera, he did want to dress handsomely for the event, LOL.


The kids had a blast!!! I think Michelle's favorite part was "dancing" with Arthur!



Perhaps Charlie's favorite part was flying Arthur's plane.


There was of course shopping and checking out.




There was so much to play with I couldn't document it all but boy did we have fun!!
