Barnstable County Fair

Have I mentioned how in love with my family I am? Yesterday we took the kids to the fair and had a great day with Mimi and Grampy. Michelle very quickly learned if I said "no" to something she should go directly to the big guns, Grampy. It was actually really funny to witness.

We were there no more than 3 minutes before they got some ice cream.



Michelle picked the ferris wheel as her first ride, little did she or Mike know they would be going round and round forever. We think the operator forgot they were on it, LOL



I was pretty nervous letting the kids go on a ride that went in the air by themselves, for some reason I had visions of a fight erupting midair but they did great!!





The boys even tried their hands at some games.


Charlie rode a motorcycle carousal and was hysterical. The ride went up and down and he concentrated so hard, I think he realy thought he was driving.



We then decked the kids out in K9 Relief Fund gear and tried to get a picture but they were all slap happy this was all we got, ha ha.

Bathtub Pictures

Although people have been telling us how tan our children are (even though I put 35 on them every day) I didn't realize it myself until I took these tub pictures.




We had a wonderful weekend visiting with my college friends. It was amazing to have so many of us in the same spot. We went to the hotel Friday night for dinner on the harbor.


Saturday we did some swimming in the hotel pool and had snacks.


The rest of the weekend was wonderful too but I didn't get any more pictures. Looking forward to Maine 2011, :-)

Fishing Derby and Tap

Last night was the fishing derby at WYLC. To say the kids were excited would be an understatement, they started practicing in the yard at 6:45 AM!!





Although the weather did not cooperate, the kids had fun trying to fish.





Charlie even got to do cheers with Nani.


Today Michelle had blast a tap, oh my she LOVED it.

Slip and Slide and Fireworks

We have kicked of the 4th weekend with a boom! The kids have been counting down the days until the fireworks and yesterday it finally arrived.

In the afternoon we had to try out our new slip and slide. Although Charlie preferred to crawl down it Michelle really got into it.




We then went to the Masphee fireworks, the kids LOVED them. We set up shop and played with some of our bag of tricks.


Michelle asked if it was getting dark about every 30 seconds. When it finally did,
they weren't so sure when the first firework went off.



Then they realized they loved them!!

Playing with cousins is so much fun!

I am organizing my pictures and came across some fun cousin pics. We will have to make a trip up north to get some more for the many we missed!!!
